Cuyamaca Rancho State Park is a unique, beautiful, green oasis in golden Southern California. Springs and small creeks scattered throughout the Park’s scenic 25,000 acres support a surprising variety of plant life ranging from grasses and sage to coolly shaded forests. There are magnificent oak trees, stands of willows, alder and sycamore, incense cedar, white fir, and four varieties of pine trees. The beauty and uniqueness of Cuyamaca has the ability to deeply effect visitors. For this reason many people choose to volunteer a portion of their time and energy to the park or to support the Interpretive Association with donations or memberships. If you have been moved by the wonders of Cuyamaca, we have a place for you. There are five volunteer units in Cuyamaca: check out the list below, one of these units is sure to meet your special interests. Won’t YOU join us?
